Prior to de Oplossing, Inc. Mark served in the U S Air Force as a Maintenance Control and Analysis Technician. Mark oversaw the operations of a billion dollar maintenance facility. He was responsible for processing and tracking vehicles and equipment within the compound as well as for shipment. Mark also served in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm during the 1990 campaign in Saudi Arabia. In the ten + years that Mark has worked for de Oplossing, Inc. he has developed business standards and relationships with many subcontractors. He has documented many issues as well as acquired the information for daily progress reports, and has laid groundwork for future claims. Mark was the Project Manager on the Restoration of the Earl Smith Strand Theatre, located on the Historic Downtown Marietta Georgia Square. This 1930’s Art Deco landmark sat in a state of disrepair for almost 25 years. Mark took ownership of the project and accomplished renovation budgeted for $5 million dollars for just under 4 million dollars. All of the work was accomplished for the Friends of the Strand, Inc. a 501 © 3 non-profit organization. Mark heads up the Bank Inspection division for de Oplossing and utilizes his experience to accurately detail project completion status so that accurate payments for work in place can be processed. In 2009, Mark became certified by The Environmental Institute as an Asbestos Inspector for Inspection and Assessment of Asbestos Containing Materials in Buildings. This certification allows de Oplossing to expand into the Environmental Aspects of the construction industry. Mark is very active in the surrounding communities and volunteers his time and expertise to many worthy causes.
